Free Consultation Policy

Our goal at Work Lawyers is to provide easy access to affordable legal representation. It’s our experience that most employees cannot afford expensive hourly legal fees.

Employers, on the other hand, can afford these rates. This leaves victimized employees at a significant disadvantage in enforcing their rights—employers can afford the big guns but employees often can’t.

To even the playing field, we offer free consultations to potential clients and often take cases on a contingent fee basis.

Providing free consultations takes the stress out of working with an attorney and can help employees immediately receive the comfort of knowing a qualified attorney is looking at their case. This also lets our clients (or prospective clients) know that taking care of their needs is our top priority.

Most of our consultations are quick and easy. We have an online questionnaire for clients to fill out, and after we review it we respond by phone or e-mail. So, prospective clients never have to leave the comfort of their own home if they so choose.

That being said, we receive a lot of legal inquiries at Work Lawyers, and our consultations are limited to prospective clients. In other words, we do not provide free legal advice or a free analysis of cases to non-clients, particularly if they are not interested in ultimately hiring us to perform work.

Likewise, if we determine that a case isn’t a good fit for us, we reserve the right to decline providing a free consultation.

Put simply, we want to respect your time and we hope you will respect ours.
